Notable programs: Northern State publishes '50+ academic programs' across certificates, associate, bachelor's and master's degrees plus online programs, micro-credentials and pre-professional tracks. Sloan Johannsen (125) and Rudy Lopez (149) each won Super Region V titles; Griffin Lundeen was third at 157, Damen Pape fourth at 174, Brady Westall and Ryan Hirschkorn fifth at 184 and 197, and Teagan Block sixth at 133. In duals the Wolves beat #17 Central Missouri 20-17, (RV) Quincy 34-6, Fort Hays State 36-15 and (RV) MSU Moorhead 35-12, shut out Southwest Minnesota State 48-0, Minot State 52-0 and Jamestown 52-0, and lost to #12 Augustana (6-27), #14 UMary (10-27), #6 UW-Parkside (12-22), (RV) Minnesota State (16-21) and #13 St. Cloud State (11-29). 2024-25 included a 20-18 upset at #7 Augustana plus wins over Dakota Wesleyan (40-3), MSU Moorhead (22-16), Sioux Falls (41-4), Southwest Minnesota State (39-3), Minot State (27-13) and (RV) Minnesota State (21-14), with losses at UW-Parkside (16-21), at #11 UMary (9-23) and to St. Cloud State (6-28). Northern State's athletics history pages count 51 wrestling All-Americans, the second-largest total of any Northern sport.
