How the ratings work
Ratings are labelled opinions, kept separate from facts. Two kinds, always marked: ratings written by us from our research on the program (marked "profile"), and ratings worked out by a fixed rule from a sourced fact shown right next to them (marked "derived") (e.g. "3 weights with one or zero listed wrestlers on the 2025-26 roster" → early lineup opportunity: strong). No program is ranked, and paid status never changes what a page says. Methodology.
Questions people ask
- Is a "lighter" weight a promise of a spot?
- No. It's where the roster is thin on the date we counted; recruiting classes and moves change it. It tells you which coach to ask, and what to ask.
- Which programs are covered?
- All 207 listed programs (75 D2, 132 D3) get the ratings and questions; 185 publish weights on their official roster and get the full weight table. When a school publishes no weights we say so instead of guessing.
- Are the rosters current?
- Every weight table shows its roster year. Today 40 are on the 2026-27 roster and 145 are still on an earlier one, until we count each of those schools' 2026-27 roster. We recount a program when its new roster goes up, and the change log records it.
- What happens after I pay?
- We email a one-time sign-in link to the address you paid with. Open it on the same device and roster depth, fit ratings and every coach question unlock on all programs. There's no password to create.
- Refunds?
- 14 days, no questions, on annual. Monthly is cancel-anytime. Refund policy.
- Can a coach see my data or my questions?
- No. Coaches don't see who holds a Pass or what you looked at.
- I'm a coach — can I check my page?
- Yes, free: claim your program page and we'll grant access after verifying against the official staff page.
