Notable: 2025-26 was one of the best seasons in program history: a program-record 12 wins, a perfect 6-0 PSAC mark and the program's third-ever PSAC Championship, clinched with an 18-12 win over Pitt-Johnstown. Gannon then won the NCAA Division II Super Regional One team title at East Stroudsburg by more than 45 points over the runner-up, taking seven individual regional titles and qualifying nine of ten wrestlers for nationals, and finished ninth of 49 teams at the NCAA Championships with 31 points. The Golden Knights also won the Mount Union Invitational (1st of 14) and the Ohio Intercollegiate Open (1st of 25) in November 2025. In 2024-25 they were second of 12 at Super Regional One and 16th of 51 at the NCAA Championships. Head coach Tom Boyd was named both NWCA Super Region One Coach of the Year and PSAC Coach of the Year for 2025-26.
