Second place at the 2026 NCAA Division II Super Region 3 championship at Findlay with 140.5 points, half a point behind champion Glenville State; region-best eight national qualifiers with individual regional titles for Chris Donathan (149) and Carter Blough (285) and a runner-up finish by Josh Kenny (174); all ten Lakers entered placed. GVSU went 20-2 in regional elimination matches and 5-0 in third-place matches, and was seeded #4 nationally entering the regional. The Lakers finished 12th at the NCAA DII Championships in Sioux Falls with 39 points.
